This reflection is a part of a month-long series titled, 30 Days of Healing, as we seek to be instruments of peace and change.
“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” – Rumi
It comes down to how you look at things, doesn’t it?
Just imagine if you could look at all of your hurt and pain as opportunities to learn and grow?
Imagine if you could see the wounds as cracks in your armor. God, who is always there, always yearning to enter into your heart, finally has a way in when the wounds are open.
In all that we are trying to do during this most difficult of years, the most important step is to allow God in and to transform our hearts and perspective.
Let us accept our individual and collective wounds, to learn from them, and to move forward. Let’s allow God in to heal us, so we can bring God’s healing love to others.
